A new kayak launch at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park provides visitors with a new way to explore the park. Thanks to the help of an anonymous donor, the launch was recently placed along the banks of the Missouri River and is free to use. The park does not offer kayak rentals, so visitors must bring their own to the launch. The Summer Lunch Program for kids and teens in Mandan provides free meals for youth 18 years and younger. The program is open Monday to Friday and takes place at different locations and times. Two Midget rec baseball teams competed in the tournament final on Tuesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. The game made up for the championship a week before, which was cancelled due to stormy weather. The A’s and the Yankees played each other to decide the tournament winner. After a game of pop-fly catches and solid batting, the A’s brought home the win with a score of 1-0.
