The Bismarck State College Mystics volleyball team defeated the North Dakota State College of Science in a five-set match to seize the Region XIII championship title. Despite the explosive tension and close score, the game ended in victory for the Mystics.
The Mystics fought hard and won the game with scores of 21-25, 26-24, 13-25, 25-15, and 15-13. The win shows the team’s strength and resolve, and, although the team may have lost in the District Championships against Central Community College - Columbus on Nov. 8, their hard work over the season shows in their record of wins versus losses. The honors awarded to three of the Mystics volleyball players is another example of the team’s remarkable season.
Maya Vibeto, Caton Pearcy, and Kate Zimmer have shown outstanding skill and hard work, and each made significant contributions to the team's success this season. They have been named to the NJCAA All-Region XIII Team.
The Mystics finished this season with a record of 25-6, a Mon-Dak Conference championship and a Region XIII championship.
